free apps and the rolling cart

So far, I haven\'t bought a single app for the iPad cart...not because I don\'t want to, but because we haven\'t set it up to buy multiple apps and put on all the iPads. That being said, the kids seems fairly happy with the free versions of the things we have done and I have been able to teach across the curriculum with the free apps. The downside is the amount of time it takes to find things that will work.
I\'ve recently placed a link on the iPads that goes to my google site so the kids can go straight to websites on some days.
Free apps work so far!

Smart Apps

I love the idea that app creators are trying to meet the educational needs of students right where they are.

Recently, I have been using a math app that adjusts to correct and incorrect responses to be just enough challenging to the student to keep them moving forward and not being overwhelmed.

These type of apps allow you to teach students the same way without overwhelming the slower learners or boring those that need additional challenges.

I hope that app creators will continue to see the benefits of this type of technology.
